My New Accessories

Today my humans left me at the vet. Very suspicious. Apparently my leg was too strong for… my leg. One of my thigh muscles had pulled a piece of bone away, so the doctors had to put everything back where it belonged. Their solution? Several wires. I’m basically part dog, part construction project now. The good news is I should walk normally again. The bad news? For the next two weeks I’ll be wearing the Cone of Shame. My humans call it a recovery collar. I prefer satellite dish.

Plot Twist: Both Knees

Yesterday they took more pictures of my knees. Today my humans got a phone call. Apparently the doctors had looked at the images, talked to each other, and reached a conclusion: Both of my knees were broken. Excuse me? I thought we were just going on fun little trips to the vet. Instead, I now have surgery scheduled for next week. My humans are sad. The doctors are serious. I would personally prefer a treat.

Plot Twist: Both Knees

The Mystery Limp

Something was wrong with my right back leg. After naps, I started limping. My humans took me to the vet. They took X-rays and said nothing looked too serious. I got joint supplements and everyone hoped it would sort itself out. It did Also, the supplements turned my bathroom schedule into a complete disaster. Not my favourite chapter. So off we went to see another doctor. Then another. Then an orthopedic specialist. Humans looked worried. I just wanted snacks.

Training & First Tram Ride

We started training. They are trying. I am… evaluating. And today? First tram ride. I made some noises. Not sure if at people… or the announcements.

Food & Walking

I eat very fast. Extremely fast. Now they gave me a “slow feeding bowl”. Rude. Outside walking? Optional. Sometimes I walk. Sometimes I don’t. They say I’m an “active breed”. LOL.

The Bathroom Situation

Apparently I’m “doing better”. There was one incident. I ran into the bedroom, jumped into my bed… and peed there. Not my usual move. Just testing new ideas. New rule (their idea): bathroom = outside. We’ll see.

Month 3 – Life Update

So… I’ve been living with my humans for almost three months now. I completely reorganized their lives. You’re welcome. One of them is with me all the time. The other one does… everything else. Seems inefficient, but I’ll allow it.

The Itch Saga Continues

So… update on the itching situation. Humans still don’t know why I’m itchy. They went to “dermatology”. Twice. Sounds important. They took samples. Found… nothing. Classic. I’m getting: • antibiotics • weird washing rituals • something called evening primrose • half a Zyrtec twice a day (sounds fancy, tastes suspicious) Also, new rule: no chicken, no beef, no pork, no salmon. Excuse me? I had beef recently. Then I itched more. Humans panicked. Conclusion: apparently cows are now illegal.

Something is wrong

So… apparently I have “something” on my back. It started small. Now it’s everywhere. Back, neck, head, legs. It itches. A lot. Humans are concerned. They keep talking about vets, shampoos and things I don’t agree with.

The Great Vomit Incident

Okay… today was weird. I couldn’t keep food down. Human panicked. Called someone. Classic. Then suddenly: no food. Just rice. Excuse me? Later I got food again, but… in water? I drank it anyway. I adapt. Now I sleep. Human watches me like I might explode.

Human is not keeping up

Human update: struggling. He says he “can’t keep up”. I can confirm. I improved my skills: • faster zoomies • better timing • advanced chaos He still tries. I respect that.

Getting used to each other

We are now… “bonding”. He looks tired. Very tired. I have energy. A lot of energy. He keeps saying things like “what are you doing” and “no no no”. I assume those are my names.

Finally home

So… new place. Smells: interesting. Objects: chewable. Human: nervous. I explored everything. He followed me like a lost puppy. Good. We understand each other.

First time together

Hi. I’m Enid. Today I met my human. He looked… overwhelmed. I approved. We stared at each other for a bit. He smiled like he just won something. He didn’t. I did.
